The Christian Outreach Center of Baton Rouge exists to create self-sufficiency and restored dignity through employment. Many men and women in our city find themselves trapped in cycles of poverty, substance abuse, crime, hunger, and homelessness. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
With your help, we are able to offer immediate relief through weekly nutritious grocery supplements, daily food distribution, assistance obtaining essential documentation necessary for housing and employment, job readiness training, financial education, employment case management, employment referral and partnerships, bible studies, community, and so much more.
Monetary Donations
The most powerful way to invest in our work is to support our efforts with a monetary donation. A gift of any amount helps us to meet both critical and basic needs. While a breakfast may seem like a fleeting service, a full belly is necessary for the mental and emotional work that has to take place to become job-ready and self-sufficient. Your gift, no matter the size, is making a difference.
Volunteer

Purple Cow Donations
We are currently seeking quality, gently-used donations: women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing; housewares; women’s accessories; and furniture. All donations are tax deductible and keeps items out of landfills.
