Our name says it all – often, we are asked about the significance of our name. It basically means to “stand apart from the herd.” We strive to be unlike any other thrift store with the quality of our merchandise, our low prices, our upbeat shopping atmosphere, the organization of all of our merchandise by type, size, and even color, and our customer service. We see ourselves as more like a discount store vs. a thrift store.

Our prices are up to 80% off retail. Discount stores offer prices up to 50% off department stores, but we go even further and offer up to 80% off department store prices. This means you save more money to spend on other things. You can put together a complete outfit for under $20 at our stores.

We sell the highest quality, hand-curated, gently-used women’s, men’s, and children’s, and vintage clothing, jewelry, purses, shoes, hats, scarves, home decor, housewares, furniture, artwork, books, textiles, toys, small appliances, collectibles, and other speciality items. One of the great things also about a thrift store is when you discover a unique treasure that can’t be found anywhere else; we have some amazing finds!

We are a Baton Rouge area non-profit organization. We have two amazing locations at Jones Creek/Tiger Bend and Perkins/Acadian. When you shop with us, you not only get high quality items at up to 80% off; the proceeds go to fight homelessness here in Baton Rouge through The Christian Outreach Center. You’ll not only love how you’ll look and how little you paid, you’ll know that you helped someone right here locally through our various programs.
